Building Strong Relationships
Our strong delivery track record and excellent customer relationships within 4Delivery have enabled us to secure a key role providing continued support and efficiency improvements to Southern Water in Asset Management Period AMP6.
Costain worked as part of a fully integrated alliance with partners Veolia and MWH to prioritise, plan and implement this major programme of work for Southern Water. Our teams of skilled and experienced engineers have delivered 470 projects and £1.35 billion of capital expenditure. The successful delivery of these projects has provided over two million households across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight with wastewater services, with one million people in the same region receiving clean water.
The joint venture will also provide design and build solutions for the development and delivery of Southern Water’s water and wastewater non-infrastructure programme as part of its £3 billion Business Plan for 2015-2020
The work is worth approximately an initial £200 million to the joint venture over the five year period and will see Costain MWH Delivery Partner [CMDP] working collaboratively with Southern Water and other delivery partners to bring together detailed design, construction and commissioning expertise.
