Representatives from The British Heart Foundation (BHF) have visited the A556 Knutsford to Bowdon Improvement Scheme to deliver a Heart Health workshop to the team.

The project Health Champion, Sean Ellison, invited the BHF to site to discuss the steps that everyone can take to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The session also covered a smoking cessation presentation and valuable CPR training.

Victoria Gaffney from The British Heart Foundation was also available for private one to one sessions to address any specific individual concerns.

Sean Ellison, said: “The team is continually looking at ways to improve the health and wellbeing of the workforce. These presentations were optional for staff but were extremely well attended. We would like to thank Victoria for her support and I hope that the sessions encourage staff to make positive lifestyle choices.”

Since November, The Health and Wellbeing committee has delivered a series of initiatives including cholesterol testing and Cancer Awareness sessions.
