People are being offered the chance of switching into ‘top gear’ and winning a brand new Vauxhall Corsa Sting with all proceeds going to the Costain *150 Challenge.

For the price of a £10 ticket, entrants have an incredible 1-in-2,000 chance of winning a new car that has a manufacturer’s Recommended Retail Price of £8,995.

Kindly donated by Vauxhall UK, the nippy Dark Sea Blue three-door car is perfect for getting around town or taking trips to the seaside.

It boasts cruise control, 16” white alloy wheels, speed-sensitive power-assisted steering, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Bluetooth® connectivity and USB connection with iPod control.

“This is a brilliant opportunity to turn just £10 into something worth just under £9,000, with all proceeds going to the 150 Challenge. With odds of over 1 in 55,000 to win just £1,500 from a £2 National Lottery ticket, this really is a chance in a lifetime,” said Tom Cleary, Costain’s 150 Challenge Project Manager.

People can purchase as many tickets as they like, or until all 2,000 tickets have been sold, and the competition is open to everyone, including friends and family of Costain people, and the Company’s supply chain.

The winner will be contacted by telephone at Costain’s Annual Awards Night on 11 December.

*The 150 Challenge commemorates Costain’s 150th anniversary and involves raising £1million in 2015 for the Costain Charitable Foundation’s four chosen charities – the British Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support, youth charity The Prince’s Trust and Samaritans.
